Bishoftu Community Based Development Project (BCBDP)
Bishoftu Community Based Development Project (BCBDP) is one of the projects run by Facilitator for Change Ethiopia. The main objective of the project is to economically and socially empower mothers individually as well as as-a-group to influence their environment and become competitive to improve the living situation of their children and themselves and be able to sustain their initiatives. The project has three major components that include women empowerment, children and youth development, and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) capacity building. Furthermore such crosscutting issues as HIV/AIDS, family planning, gender and reproductive health education are integrated within the existing programs. The project directly targets 1200 mothers to address their 1897 children, 3490 CBO members and 122 youths.

Baso Liben Child Protection and Education Project
The major Objectives of Baso Liben Child Protection and Education Project are; 1. To reduce child labor exploitation and Gender Based Violence (GBV) and, 2. To create accessibility for all boy and girl children including those with disabilities to quality education in the Woreda. It has two major components the child protection and Education. The project was started in 2008 and will run for three years. All children (boys and girls) in the project area are target groups of the project. Nevertheless the project has a plan to get in touch with 11400 children

Birmadu Folle
Birmadu Folle Project is working to achieve the objective of creating enabling environment for child growth and development through Promotion of Farmers’ market organizations, skill training for rural landless youths and women empowerment. It encourages a wide base farming activities through utilization of existing resources to ensure household food security, enables marginalized school age children get access to quality basic education through cost effective alternative Basic Education (ABE), facilitates self-employment skill training for landless rural youth. It works to enable marginalized rural mothers get access to credit facilities for better economic opportunities, and facilitate the mainstreaming of crosscutting issues such as HIV/AIDS, FGM, early marriage, gender issues and basic child rights in all project components’ implementation.

Oljedha
Oljedha works to expand the use of market oriented crops for income and nutritional improvement, widen the market participation of smallholder farmers’ organizations and create sustainable cereal banks by upgrading their competences. It also works to create educational access to out-of-school children through Alternative Basic education, skill training for rural landless youths and women empowerment through Self Help Groups promotion. Geographically the project covers three districts namely; Tiro Afeta, Omo Nadda and Kersa in Jimma Zone of Oromia region. The total number of target groups comprising of children, women, farmers and youth is 15000 people.
